DESIGN A LOGO

This year’s logo is temporary and we are looking for a new logo designed by pupils for their award. The logo competition is open to all registered schools and logos should be e-mailed to Kathy or Ann before 17th March 2010.

The winning logo will be announced at the Grand Finale event on 24th March 2010 and will be used on all material for the Northern Ireland Children’s Book Award 2010-2011.

PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION

The website has polaroid shots of various Northern Ireland visitor attractions at the top of each page; we want to replace these with images of children reading short-listed titles at well-known Northern Ireland spots.

Pupils may send in their jpeg images to their school librarian along with a letter from parents permitting the photograph to be displayed on the webpage.

School librarians will then email the images to Ann or Kathy and the best images will be displayed on the website. The closing date for this is Friday December 11th. There may be a further extension of this in the Spring.
