Design a Christmas Card
- Based on one of the short-listed books, settings or characters
- Cards must be electronically scanned and submitted digitally to your librarian
- Please state clearly your name, school and contact email
- Closing date: Monday 19th December 2011
- Top 3 entries will receive a USB pen drive

FACEBOOK COMPETITION
- Decide on your most interesting character from the short-listed books
- Make a Facebook page containing all the information you can find about him/her - school, interests, friends, etc (You can download a blank template here)
- Write on his/her wall including comments from the character and his friends
- The five most interesting and exciting Facebook pages will win cinema tickets
- Closing date: Friday 24th February 2012
- Email entries to your school librarian
- Don’t forget your name, school and contact email!
PODCASTING COMPETITION
Prize for the most innovative podcast!
Create and record a debate amongst some of the characters from the shortlisted books.
(For example Ben from the Ministry of Pandemonium could be telling Lizzie from Run Rabbit Run how to avoid being killed in a number 19127)
OR
Record your classmates as they take on the persona of one of the characters and discuss why their book is the best
OR
Whatever imaginative scenario you like
- Competition is open to all participating schools
- Send your entry to your school librarian
- Competition closes Friday 24th February 2012
